Emergency Management & Evacuation
There is at least 1 staff member with first aid training on duty at all times.
Emergency procedures and dates will be known and practiced regularly by all children and staff and others located within the Centre. Emergency evacuation procedures are displayed throughout the Centre.
Fire extinguishers and First Aid kits are provided in all designated rooms.
In case of a serious accident or medical emergency, staff will endeavour to contact parents/adult guardian immediately. If emergency treatment is required, an ambulance will be called without delay.
Parents are required to sign the authority for staff to seek medical or ambulance assistance if necessary. Staff keep detailed records of any accidents that occur at the Centre, parents are required to sign forms upon collecting their child..
